Ryzen 3000 are the first chips for mass PCs made using 7-nanometer technology. The processors are based on the Zen 2 microarchitecture.
The substrate contains 7-nanometer cores, as well as a 14-nanometer crystal with a set of logic. They are connected to each other by the Infinity Fabric bus. The chips will also receive support for the PCIe 4.0 interface. At the same time, the new processors will be compatible with the AM4 socket, meaning that replacing the motherboard will not be required.
